Cloud gaming service OnLive gets better and better. We had a blast checking OnLive booth at E3 this year and you better believe that the use of the service will be increased because GameStop accidentally OnLive a ton of great publicity yesterday. But OnLive is not resting on our laurels, as today the rolling new opportunities.
First on our list is parental controls, such as the need for just about any gaming platform. Where there are games, there are terrible, violent and profane content. Definitely not suitable for young children. Parents can now install certain restrictions on your account to block M-rated games, chat with strangers, brag clips, or monitoring.
OnLive also presented the beta group voice chat. To date, OnLive has a strong social element with its gaming chat (for multiplayer sessions) and spectator chat (for people, watching others play). Voice chat-group will enable you to communicate with friends whether they play, view, or to choose one's own nose. Even in the Beta Group chat works fine on all the supported devices OnLive's.
And rounding out our new feature: another opportunity for you to brag on Facebook. OnLive today has integrated Facebook achieve Exchange that automatically posts any gaming achievements directly to Facebook. OnLive already does this with Brag clips that little video some stellar moves or big time wins, you did during the game. If it just so happens that your game has a Brag clip reaching configured, achievements will get blasted out to Facebook along with Brag clips, so that your friends are proof of your ability to dominate.
OnLive said these latest features are the product of client requests and that they are not the last. So if you're a junkie OnLive and great idea to make the platform better, ask and you could receive. No harm in trying, right?
OnLive is video game processing on the server, allowing games to run without game consoles or computers, switching from a system in which the purchase and download games.
