While many would call buyers 3DS, who took their console to $ 80 price cut expected on 12 August "suckers", Nintendo calling them "Ambassadors" and they'e offering them special updates to upcoming downloadable titles. These updates will include Multiplayer support and improved gameplay.

Although no one is quite clear to all get ambassadors, Nintendo said that early adopters will gain certain benefits, including updated versions of the game they are uploaded after 12 August. What game? Well, in conjunction with the price cut, early adopters will receive 20 free NES and GBA games, it can be argued that the cold comfort for those who wish to have four Hamiltons in their pocket.

Here's a quote from the press release:

As soon as the paid version of the game are available at the Nintendo store later this year, updated versions will be available for ambassadors to download free.

If this sounds confusing, fear not: IGN even had no idea that it was up and they have already paid to write games throughout the day.
